>>526313601I came out in the yard the other day to see a hawk eating one of my chickens. I put up a barrier, but it keeps swooping down and scaring the rest of my hens. So now they all just hide in their coop all day unless I'm out there.

>>526314958It's funny you say that because the first time the hawk came my alpha hen decided to meet it on the battlefield, and chased it off with my help. Unfortunately I gave her and a few others away to a family member who wanted their own chickens. A new alpha rose up, but she immediately was almost killed by the hawk. I think it broke her leg. So I had to pull and put her in private quarters in the garage to heal. That's when it came back and actually succeeded.
