On paper, the left wing government should just win the election. But that can't happen because of the timing of the election. The left wing government can only be given the opportunity to form minority government AFTER the far right fails to form majority government.And far left parties will reject majority government with the far right before the election even starts, so there won't be a resolution to that issue before the election. And none of the right wing parties will run with the banned nazi party during the election either, leaving it to voters to preference either the far right, or centre left. This will be a question of how much marginal voters actually want a change in government.And if any of them try to actually form minority government with the far left and far right in the same coalition there will just be a totally deadlock in the Senate. It wouldn't prevent voters going back to the polls 3 months after the ellection.There's also a possibility that some elements of the left wing government aligned with trade unions might back a far right coalition, to avoid being mauled as the weakest part of a defacto left wing government. Some trade union blocs might refuse to put candidates forward because their membership was split. This is essentially what occurred in France, leading to macron regaining office and the French far right swallowing the centre right in opposition.
