Australia is headed to a disastrous brexit tier election where
A. The government loses power
B. The centre right party having only 20% of the vote can't form government
C. A coalition of the most radical right wing parties, totally dysfunctional could form government with the support of the now defunct centre right party
D. The centre right party refuses outright to be a minor faction in this clown tier government, but also refuses to be a minor vote in the left wing government which just lost
E. Australians are sent back to the booths by the governor General, which i don't think has every happened.
F. The left wins government without majority support
E. Protests sweep the country as the far right claim to have the majority support of the centre right voters, even though the centre right party itself won't support them
F. The banned nazi party claim, and possibly quiet rightly, that the governments laws banning them gave the left wing government an undemocratic victory, and march on government. Triggering a constitutional crisis where the high court decision on their registration directly determines who holds government.

Wild times ahead

On paper, the left wing government should just win the election. But that can't happen because of the timing of the election. The left wing government can only be given the opportunity to form minority government AFTER the far right fails to form majority government.

And far left parties will reject majority government with the far right before the election even starts, so there won't be a resolution to that issue before the election.

And none of the right wing parties will run with the banned nazi party during the election either, leaving it to voters to preference either the far right, or centre left. This will be a question of how much marginal voters actually want a change in government.

And if any of them try to actually form minority government with the far left and far right in the same coalition there will just be a totally deadlock in the Senate. It wouldn't prevent voters going back to the polls 3 months after the ellection.

There's also a possibility that some elements of the left wing government aligned with trade unions might back a far right coalition, to avoid being mauled as the weakest part of a defacto left wing government. Some trade union blocs might refuse to put candidates forward because their membership was split.

This is essentially what occurred in France, leading to macron regaining office and the French far right swallowing the centre right in opposition.

Why did they cuck? Doesn't make much sense to me.

When Menzies banned the Communist Party in the 1950s, the Communists didn't cuck. They just BTFOed the government in the courts
