If EU decoupled from US it would mean mutual assured destruction of the entire Tech sector.A small part of the ASML machines depend on US parts but that's not the issue, EU already know how to make those parts, it's just that US was first and they bought the US company that does them and they still produce in US.The problem is that because of some of the patents, the machines are linked with US.For EU to be able to sell litography machines after decoupling from US would mean permanent sanctions and total ecnomic and legislative isolation from US, ignoring their patents.In absence of that every tech industry on earth just ceases to exist to be fair.
