Bulgaria after adopting the euro: prices of basic products have risen by as much as +30% within just 2 days. Bread went from 0.89 leva (€0.46) to 1.19 leva (€0.61). Restaurants and online shops are reporting price increases of up to double. The government is threatening fines of up to €51,000 in panic/desperation to everyone who rises prices, but the price shock is already a fact.

Time for Bolanda to adopt euro too. Otherwise "Ruskiy Mir" awaits. xD

>€0.61

Thats still a very low price for a bread. In Bolanda you need to pay 5 zl for a shit tier bread made of toxic/carcinogenic "technical grain" in Hert, like "Staropolski" fe. It is 1.2 euro. But Bolanda is a very rich country, people here can easily afford it xD

thats what happens everytime a country adopts the euro, did they think that it wouldn't happen this time or what?

>(€0.46) to 1.19 leva (€0.61)
are they that poor ? lmao. they gonna starve???
>>

It gets even worse - the government can only fine them but not force them to lower their prices and you can challenge and sit on the fine for a bit, throughout which the profit margins can make up for it plus extra. I.e the fine becomes a calculated business model and you're legally untouchable.

I mean, I remember I was a kid when that garbage arrived over here, the price of literally everything triplicated overnight.

They knew what would happen, the point is that they're scrambling to bind peripheral EU countries closer to Brussels because globohomo is afraid that it's losing its grip

Why on earth would a country willingly join the EU? Genuine question.

I know democracy is a scam and it doesn't matter what the general population thinks but there are people out there who feel strongly about these things. I have never really heard a good reason other than the shengen zone which I think is a terrible thing to begin with.

These eastern European countries are getting massive bribes from the EU along with the EU interfering with elections. The EU rigged the Romanian elections last year.
>>
>>526334986
You don't, either your country gets blackmailed or your politicians or they just fake votes if there's a referendum.
>>
>>526335408
You can't let people decide themselves because that might harm democracy!
>>
>>526334986
there are massive investments in Sofia to make it the tech capital of the balkan. Intel used to have a campus in Romania for example no idea if its still there.
>>
>>526335420
lmao give it rest. they agreed to it and the only reason any of you retarded inbreds are questioning it now is because the EU decided you weren't worth propagandizing because slaves wont do shit
>>
>>526335408
It didn't rig it, it straight up took control over it. Rigging implies that they tried to hide it. They didn't. They boasted about it. Pro-EU propaganda networks were full of "and what are you going to do about it :)" type of posts.
