If Europeans had taken over Africa, today Africa would have roughly the same number of innovations-per-capita as the USA. Considering the sheer size of Africa, the agricultural potential, that place could house several billion whites. All the highly coveted Western European whites; the ones who produce most of the inventions. This would roughly double, or perhaps even triple, the white population, and thus the global innovation-rate over the past century. We would be 2-3 centuries ahead in our technology. But consider, if we had employed eugenic policies that slowly raised IQ rates, by today the average white person would have an IQ of 105. That would slash the crime rate by 3/4, and raise the innovation rate by a whopping 5x estimated, as the number of people over the 145 threshold, where self-taught inquisitiveness occurs, would quintuple.Thus Africa gives us a 2x - 3x bonusAnd eugenics gives us a 5x bonusThat is a 10x higher innovation-rate.
