During WW2 Japan had adopted a system of "Comfort women". This was a system of kidnapping women and putting them in army run brothels to service the men. The main reason this was done was because it allowed doctors to check the girls for diseases, so STD's wouldn't run rampant in the army.These women mostly came from China and Korea, but some were also Dutch & UK women. In on example the regulations were like so "20 Soldiers in the morning, 5 NCO's during the day and senior officers at night". If they refused or ran away, they and their families would be severely punished
