i mean they're already checked out of some heavy industries, like they can't do hight tech steel forging since they closed Bethlehem Steel in the 80s and have been relying on allies for such needs
now this will mostly be a city thing, the life of the average honest working hillbilly in the middle of the countryside will probably go unbothered
