Ross Douthat writes an obituary for American conservatism.

Here’s the tragedy: it worked! Look at American dynamism and growth, especially in red states. Reagan and Goldwater were correct.

Conservatives talk about libs not appreciating the accomplishments of their civilization. The American conservative movement was mostly correct, but had to rely on cultural grievance to win elections. Eventually, those grievances swallowed the whole thing.
>>
Conservatives are gay and Jewish
>>
If you really think about it, liberals are now conservatives.
>>
>>526368500
>dynamism
pricing people out of the place they grew up in forcing them to move
>growth
imfinite brown invaders

>especially in red states

Does this retard not understand that those "accomplishements" are the problem?

This nigga is the antithesis of everything Reagan stood for

"ross douthat" sounds like a fake brand of "high end"-looking chocolate sold at dollar tree

The USA will never improve until those satanic Jews are expelled from the USA! Starting with the Federal Reserve Rothschilds!

If you really think about it, it’s all kayfabe theater and the pageantry is masking the fact that after two administrations by different parties with supposedly radically different policies - the US is moving in the same direction. Away from helping poor people and toward technocratic entrenchment of the uniparty system
>>
>>526368500
He's not wrong, I suspect every antisemitie like me won't be voting for either party going forward. On the right though, that's got to be like 30%+ loss of votes. That's unrecoverable for any party.
>>
>>526368844
Which will be over in about 11 months
MIGA has no grass roots left, the Jews gleefully ripped them up and now all that's left are theater fags and grifters sucking the last shekel from desperate Zionist boomercuck billionaires

Reagan was the conduit through which mass illegal immigration was considered "okay" if you just grant them amnesty. Conservatism in the United States is perfectly encapsulated by that quote from the Confederate general after the war saying that the only thing it will accomplish in "conserving" is toothless whining as the country is slowly whittled away.

Libtards will get into power and go full retard with their persecution of whites instead of providing health care or debt relief and that will be that they will get thrown out for Baron Trump or something else like that. You have to be retarded or a Zoomer, but i repeat myself, if you think it will go any other way.
>>
>>526368995
>technocratic
I hate when faggots use this word not knowing what it means. You really think the government is putting experts in their relative fields in positions related to them? Fucking retard. Technocracy doesn't mean 'people who control technology rule', you idiot.
>>
>>526368500
Because of the two party dynamic the Democrats are rapidly becoming the economic liberal party: free trade, pro-competition, anti-government meddling. Abundance agenda, etc.

Basically, the parties are keeping their positions in the culture wars but are swapping positions on economics. A growing number of never-Trump classical-liberal former republicans are waking up to this and formally becoming Democrats see The Bulwark.
>>
>>526369838
You mean George Lincoln Rockwell?
>>
In other words he's butthurt that cuckservatives finally got pinned into a corner of needing to at least somewhat deliver on what they ran on rather than just throwing it all out the window the instant they're elected and going back to their real plan of deepthroating capital
>>
>>526368500
There are no "conservatives", anyone claiming so is flat out wrong. You are either Team Blue Kike or Team Red Kike. Both fully support kike agendas, the only difference are minor social things that neither party really deliver on. Stuff like 1A/2A debates, abortion, etc.

Neither party are for America or Americans. They exist for kikes, and kikes ONLY. Israel will get their money and zogbots to defend them. Finance kikes get their "line always goes up". Kikes keep on winning year after year, vote after vote. There is no time when kikes lose.

Everyone votes against their own interests. Because the kike rigged the system - you MUST vote for the least evil kike candidate: red kike or blue kike. That is why ALL you have in common with said candidates is 1-2 niche social issues, and half the time that is a stretch for many - they don't even bother voting. Want to run a candidate that represents (You)? NOPE, kikes will smear them, ban them from running, and de-person them and ensure they have no funding or air time. You will vote kike approved or not at all.

Team Red Kike is NOT dead or done for. It's still VERY useful for kikes because they do not deliver on Team Blue Kike promises EVER (re student loan debt? UBI? healthcare?). Just as Team Red Kike fails to deliver on their promises. This keeps all the dumbshits oscillating between two kike platforms instead of RUNNING THEIR OWN NON-KIKED PLATFORMS AND CANDIDATES.

That 3rd party curse? It's FROM the kikes. Don't you dare compete. Ever. We will bury you.

Good, conservatism failed to conserve anything beyond liberalism's victory every 10 years or so choosing another hill or previous liberal positions to draw another line in the sand on yet giving in every time, reactionary right wing populism is the way forward if you actually want to reverse the decay of this occupied left wing society.

>>526368500
What did the conservative era as Douthat views it conserve? Needless and destructive wars, massive debt, mass immigration, and letting insane leftist take over the entire education and media apparatus.

>Obama elected

>Donald Trump spent his first term as the frustrated caretaker of the decaying
>Victorian mansion called the American conservative movement — floating plans to
>tear it down and build anew but mostly just knocking down a few walls, adding a
>gilded bathroom, doing some renovations that the residents had long desired

>His second term has been a different story

>No one should be surprised if the movement that William F. Buckley Jr. and Barry
>Goldwater forged and Ronald Reagan brought to power is giving way to a quite
>different mode of right-wing politics.

>Against that backdrop, we can predict that a nationalist right will be
>more intensely focused on American interests in foreign policy, less internationalist
>and idealistic than prior incarnations of conservatism. We can assume that it will
>be more open to government interventions in the economy than the laissez-faire or
>libertarian style of right-wing politics. We can take for granted that it will be more
>concerned with issues of immigration and national identity and less engaged with
>the cultural issues that motivated the religious right. And we can expect it to be
>more radical — more reactionary in some ways, more futurist in others than —
>than the Burkean conservatism it has seemingly displaced.
>>
>>526368500
Jokes on you people, conservatives don't conserve anything but their own lifestyles.
>>
>>526368500
This is seriously undermined by the fact that the US takes orders from Israel. It is possible that younger voters are going to reject Israel while older voters will keep doing mental gymnastics to justify it. There will be a split between liberals who oppose Israel and conservatives who are split on the issue. In other words, liberal ideology is changing to be more pro-US while conservative ideology is changing to be more pro-white. It’s up to personal preference which way you want to go.

He's correct. The death of conservatism has given birth to something far more ruthless just as Adolf Hitler, Rockwell and WLP eluded to.

We are now a extremely large majority among Millenials and Gen Z and while unorganized the potential exists for a movement the world has not seen in nearly a century and kikes know this and that is why they are fast tracking AI and forcing the old guard to swallow more kike dicks than their mouth can fit hopefully to their detriment.

Destruction of the uniparty
No matter what happens
No going back
>>
>>526371988
The uniparty still exists and is just as conservative as it always was. Remember when Charlie Kirk got shot and everyone was talking about his ideology or whatever. It was a complete distraction from what he really wanted and the real reason for why he was shot, which was accountability and arrests for anyone associated with Epstein. Both democrats and republicans jointly drowned out this issue with culture war bullshit. It was all planned by Chuck Schumer and of all places Reddit was the only site that actually covered it.
Sad.

nah they're already dying out
Douthat is probably wrong about losing interest in religious issues anyway, since the civic nationalist camp seems to be christian
