1970: minimum wage was 1.25 dollars, houses are 5,000 dollars.
2026: minimum wage is 16 dollars, houses are 450,000

You are only getting paid 1/9th of what the value of your work is.

Because by the pricing standards of houses in my country, minimum wage should be 150 euros an hour to have the same buying power as the value of minimum wage in 1970.
