You’d think there’d be tons of false positives of US citizens being sent away if they weren’t double and triple checking. Only one I heard of that got caught saw 2 judges before his family showed up with his birth certificate.

This is exactly the sort of power the government should not have. It can be used to disappear political enemies of the state, or critics of Israel. We've already seen a US citizen almost get deported simply for protesting Israel. I understand that you're very eager to get browns out of the country but don't throw away our constitutional rights in order to do it.
