So Syrian officials signed the agreement on his behalf and released it. He went there a few hours ago today.As for why Kurdish forces fight: the deal says Kurdish cities has "special status", whatever that may mean is not clear, so Kurdish forces are not yet letting Syrian Army/Arab Tribes (who hold a deep grudge against Kurds, for various reasons) enter their cities until they hear from their chief who is now in Damascus.They also fought them near the two prisons that hold the ISIS prisoners and retreated. They didn't want Arab Tribes to have access to ISIS prisoners as many of them are their own relatives and will obviously try to free them.
