I do not think the elite will ever permit the de jure remonetization of silver as silver has always been the money of free and prosperous people and they don't want silver to comeback as the currency of free people. So at a certain point it makes sense to trade in your silver to buy stock in the miners (as silver is often mined as byproduct of copper mining), what is that point?

Doesn't matter what the elite want. They are decadent and corrupt and their rule is coming to a close. If nothing else, silver will be the money of the balkanized republics of the old USA, and depending on the level of development of those republics, you might be lucky as an unskilled laborer to earn a half ounce a week. But that would have the local PPP of $1500 a week today. Maybe more.
>>
>>526421267

de jure, what about de facto fag
>>
>>526421451
In what countries? The big miners tend to be international. Trump wouldn't let any countries in the American sphere nationalize say Freeport McMorans holdings.
>>
>>526421784
Well you can probably use silver as money now if you really want to with any small business at least if the owner thinks your silver is authentic (best get coins in an easily recognized type for that). So sure it could become de facto money but its not going to be effectively 1500 in the near future unless its remonetized DE JURE. De facto money price is probably between 300 and 500 dollars an ounce for at least the next four years.

After silver gets to that price I like the idea of buying the miners because they'll benefit from both silver and copper going up and its trading a passive hedge asset that has run most of its course for now massively more profitable mining operations... but Im open to having flaws in my reasoning exchange.
>>
>>526421819
Every country with a silver miner will nationalize the mines on their territory.

>>
>>526422430
The pretense that countries that are not the US Russia or China are sovereign and have freedom of action when it touches on the interest of their overlord is going away. Trump is doing away with this fiction because he got tired of our vassals abusing it.

So no nobody except the big three is going to be able to nationalize anything anymore.

I've already started to slowly sell off my stack. A few dimes and quarters on Ebay to satisfy the algo with good metrics. The goal is to shift from metals to exploiting immigrants for profit. I'm creating a home health care business and will use my immigrant staff to "care" for rich dying boomers. It's the perfect business and easy to get usda loans at 0-1% interest. I already applied for the llc last week. I will be eligible for a 50k loan next week.

I accept PMs as payment for my small business and will pay with them to anyone else that accepts them. It's about creating a parallel economy that doesn't rely on government permission to transact with your fellow man. When the Fagnadian government froze bank accounts for opposing injections and NATO stole Russian funds the legitimacy and security of the debt instrument dollar evaporated.
>>
>>526424598
Agreed, and silver coins are a better medium of exchange than gold (too valuable for everyday transactions, too much incentive to try to counterfeit) or crypto (too many people don't know how to use fucking crypto wallets).

But at a certain point of silver appreciation the miners do become a more attractive investment than the physical metal, I'm just soliciting the opinion of other silver chads what that point is in their opinion.
> I will never sell for any other asset
I'm a fellow physical chad and I think silver is the best form of exchange money for free people. But that doesn't make it always the best investment ever all the time.
>>
>>526421267
Lmao. No. 400:1 paper to physical suggests a $4k price target. Maybe $3.5k
>>
>>526425306
At a certain price the Chinks and even the Russians will play ball with the American central banks to stabilize prices... UNLESS they plan to make silver a de jure currency. Which is not impossible but its unlikely.

I know how badly silver has been manipulated down and I know why the manipulation broke recently (mostly China decided they weren't going to play ball anymore) at a certain price the chinks will start playing again IMHO.
>>
>>526421267
I dont know or care what remonetization of silver mean to Americans.

I will keep buying silver and trade over 75oz silver for a 100g 24k chain when the ratio allows it.

And I’m never buying miners in Canada because of our weird aboriginal law and I’m not buying American stocks because america fucks Canada over left and right.
>>
>>526425306
historically i think the gold silver ratio closest has been like 1:12 so i dont think we will see 4k silver for like 100 years even with all the market manipulation currently failing
>>
>>526425642
Why does high silver prices mean you have to make it your currency? Why not make diamonds your currency?
>>
>>526426058
diamonds are worthless and you can just make them in a factory
>>
>>526421267
Never selling, only trading for land.
>>
>>526426028
Not saying $4k is possible, but the ratio of value to mining has to take into account consumption and destruction. All gold ever mined still exists, like 97% of it is still in human possession. However, all that silver iodide in weather manipulation is gone, all that silver nitrate used for wounds, gone. All those tomahawk missile electronics get evaporated. All the high temperature ball bearing a coated in silver in jet engines, gone. All those old solar panels discarded and buried, along with all the switches and circuits that never get silver recycled. There's probably some impact there.

Most of the control of the midterm primaries and elections is with the States, even for offices in the US Congress.
Even as Trump is trying to sew chaos, more and more Independents will lean Democrat.
The only way for Trump to win is not to play.
If the Democrats get a solid control of both houses, they can make life hell or Trump.
If he isn't already dead of old age.
>>
>>526433102

>>
>>526432982

Gee, how easy would that be to counterfeit?
The Chinese already counterfeited tens of thousands Morgan and Peace silver dollars 20 years ago.
>AI Overview

>Chinese counterfeiters primarily target popular and valuable U.S. silver dollars like the Morgan Dollar (especially Carson City "CC" mints) and American Silver Eagles, flooding the market with fakes made of plated base metals (copper, zinc) that are underweight, magnetic, lack fine detail, and often sold at unrealistically low prices, well below melt value, making price a key warning sign.
>>
>>526433160
>poor retard here, why silver instead of gold?
The price of silver is artificially suppressed to prop up the Federal Reserve note (aka "US dollar"). The suppression scheme is failing, which is allowing the price of silver to rise to where it would be without the bank suppression.

>>
>>526437720
Take it down a notch, most of the folks here are on the same side. We all hate the banksters and stacked. Very few shills, they're pretty scared. And not everyone is in the same position, but the metric mostly discussed by stackers for any trade is the ratio, gold to silver, which based on mining ratios of 1:8 is way out of whack. I'm one of those who thinks it will close to 1:2 as fiat fails. And I'm pretty sure there's some awareness of the failure of the federal reserve note in the current administration, and plans around it.
>>
>>526438458
> You think the GSR will go to 1:2
Why???

Even if it goes back to historical norms before the demonetizations of silver GSR would be between 15:1 to 12:1?
>>
>>526433160

Poorfags like you and I can't really afford gold now that it has show up to like 4500$ an ounce. I used to occasionally get 1/10 oz gold coins in addition to silver, but one of those is like 500$ now (I usually only have 200-400 a month of disposable income). Obviously richfags can still work with it, but has been priced out of the range for a lot of people. Silver is shooting up now too, this month I could only afford 3 ounces when I used to get like 8-10.
>>
>>526438935
We used up a billion above ground ounces in the last 7 years of structural mining deficit. No l e is sure how much is left above ground, and how much has been destroyed, but some speculate most mined silver has been consumed and thrown away That has to be rebuilt, and while that happens, massive demand from industry is increasing, and the supply is inelastic for 5-10 years. Fundamentally, silver has use.
