Schedule was very comfy but I ultimately returned to work out of boredom. That, and I began having panic attacks which prevented sleep. I'm not even quite sure why, my finances were fine and I knew the way I was living I could easily make it another year+ without working. It just bugged me knowing I was aging and not doing anything. I did manage to read several of my backlogged books and ironically playthrough the entire Stalker franchise during that time.

Gap-years are probably the worst negative variable to have in job hunting, which everyone will want an explanation for in positions that are above flipping burgers. Trade schools require 10k+ hours before you take off into middle class income.Having said all that, NEETS should still do whatever they can to carve a life out for themselves. It's just really fucking difficult for those who are shaking off a period of inaction to actually get started. You get put into an analysis paralysis of which direction to go knowing how the elites are simply trying to automate or import a replacement for you at every corner. Will whatever program I apply to be replaced in 5 years by AI? If I try something and hate it, will I still have time to swap to something else? These thoughts just loop infinitely
The only real negative for me is just finding something to watch while I'm eating every night. Just endless shit out there and I've seen everything good five times. Even youtube got old a few years ago but I still watch hours of it every day
