Whether or not what I believe was going on in the back ground was, one thing is certain. The Minneapolis police were protecting Jake Lang that day and used a shit ton of resources to hid that fact.

there won't be any civil war but I've said it before and I'll say it again, something should change so states should be able to restrict citizenship from others from other states. Most major politicians in Minnesota aren't Minnesotan (even if they're American), a third of people in this state weren't born here, and I'd guess most of the people protesting probably also weren't born in Minnesota (the ones rioting during george floyd stuff certainly weren't) and neither are the ICE agents.Living in another state could probably still be allowed, same with open borders between states (and constitutionally those probably can't be restricted anyway), but to my knowledge it's only supreme court decisions that truly prevent states from saying some people living in the state aren't necessarily citizens of that state (such as if they only recently moved there).would need to be fleshed out but I think it could turn things around
