>Japan's main goal during WW2 was to free Asia from European imperial control.>After WW2 Britain and France couldn't afford to maintain their colonies overseas>Was the only non-white country in the world that could stand on equal footing with the white nations, almost to the point that people today consider them "honorary whites">They're considered the "apex" asians. Even though China has more hard power in Asia, Japan has a lot more soft power and in many regards they're considered the "best" or most elite asians.Probably wasn't worth having almost all their cities firebombed and getting nuked twice, but can't say they didn't benefit even from losing.
bro japanese girls dont want to fuck you
>>526503397>Japan's main goal during WW2 was to free Asia from European imperial control. They wanted to kill the communist who were making threats to kill the Emperor. why do you let your cognitive bias change how you perceive reality?
>>526503741I mean I guess that's why passport bros on here and X focus on Japan so much because they think those are the "best" asians, even though they'd be more likely to find a cute woman that worships them for being white in The Philippines or even China over Japan.
>>526503916That was part of it but the whole "Asia for the Asians" thing was also a big deal. They surrendered to America in part because they knew Stalin would have thought nothing about killing 3 million of his own men if it meant that Hirohito would hang.
>Japan's main goal during WW2 was to free Asia from European imperial controlAnd instead, they just accelerated the USA's imperial dominance of the Pacific.
>>526504460Meh. USA is a better ruler than Britain or France. I would argue that Asia is now controlled by China or USA. Most people agree USA is better.
>>526503741They’re both niggers.
>>526504782>USA is a better ruler than Britain or France>Most people agreeThe Japs don't lmao
>>526504782I really don't think the america empire is a more benevolent empire than the British empireThere are many contributions to world history that came from the British empire. For example, Indians and Egyptians are only aware of their ancient histories because British people translated ancient artifacts from lost languages and uncovered history. These nations wouldn't even have the opportunity to be proud of their ancient heritage if it weren't for the labor of the British. I don't see this great positive influence coming from the American empire at all.Digressing a little bit, it also means Indians today have no long spanning connection to their ancestral roots and it's all larp, and countries in east and southeast Asia are better learning places for Buddhism than it.
