She exploited her boyfriend and his brother to get a record deal and then had a private meeting with executives where they gave her full rights to the band Mae and songwriting credits. The band was then essentially hired on for peanuts as touring musicians while Hayley got filthy Rich. She dumped her boyfriend (the guitarist) and went on a 2 decade long ho fest. All she does it whine about lgbt and virtue signal. Her music has sucked ever since the brothers who actually wrote all the music left.
