>Danish pension fund AkademikerPension to exit US Treasuries
>"The US is basically not a good credit and long-term the US government finances are not sustainable," Anders Schelde, chief investment officer at AkademikerPension, told Bloomberg on Tuesday.
>The fund, which manages approximately $25 billion in savings for teachers and academics, currently holds about $100 million in US Treasuries as of the end of 2025.

Trump crashes the market every four months and his Jew friends make a lot of money, then things go back to normal

The point is, the selloff of US treasuries is starting. Do you think this just stops with one pension fund?
>>
>>526528790
Not this time, this is permanent. Trump has been trying to collapse the USD to make US manufacturing exports more internationally competitive and he's going to succeed now. The plan to devalue the USD is called the Mar-a-Lago Accord written by Trump's chief economic advisor Stephen Miran

yes. none of you second tier nations will do shit. you need these treasuries as much as we need you to have them. just like fucking denmark, theyre going to make a big show of getting a quote in some commie rag while they quietly sell off less than 1% of their holdings
>>

Danish PF is that's probably less than a yearly lego budget. Wake me up when Norway sells their trillions.
>>
>>526527676
Love America or hate it...or President Trump....this is a irresponsible financial move that hurts your people. Malpractice.

China and Japan are the largest single holders of US treasuries and have been slowly selling down their positions since late last year. Everyone is selling off because the US is too unstable now to sensibly be invested in. Nobody is going to announce it publicly though to avoid risking a stampede, which would mean everyone loses a lot more money as the value rapidly crashes

Chinks have been dropping bonds for the last 15 years.
From peak nearly 1400 billions worth to 700 billions.

The EU sell is not even a fart in the woods.

>>526529255
>slowly since last year.

They have been doing since 2014 and not slowly. 50 Billion a year till 2022 and after that like a rock with 200 billions a year.

Oh is that why the USD tanked to .85 to 1 Euro?
>>
While Norway has trillions $ invested in American assets (sadly)
>>
>>526529569
Oh well Japan are servile idiots, China has been selling off at unprecedented rates though

>China's holdings dropped from approximately
770billion linearly 2024 to roughly
682 billion by November 2025.

At this rate, they'll be out of US treasuries entirely by 2030, severing any link with the USD

>while being known to fudge their reported numbers
top cope kek

Norway has so much invested in US securities ($2 trillion), they can't sell out without potentially single-handedly triggering a GFC event. When Norway finally sells out, and they will, the implications will be global and seismic

EU owns 4 trillion in us treasure bonds alone. 12 trillion total and that includes stocks.

And I dunno how much switzerland and norway and other european countries own

India has bet a large percentage of their economy on remittances from their foreign workforce which is why they're so enthusiastic about sending their most educated to western countries. Indian migration is becoming extremely toxic now with Canada starting mass deportations and Australia tightening migration rules specifically for Indians after an Indian migrant family committed one of our worst mass shootings, so prepare for India's economy to significantly contract.

Western countries gorged on the cheap sugar hit of migration to boost failing economies during covid, but the public is rebelling now and they're panicking as they worry about not being able to be re-elected due to the unpopularity of mass migration, particularly the effect on housing affordability (too many people vying for limited number of houses drives prices up).
>>
>>526530726
Why are you framing this as some sort of servility v.s. defiance thing? National banks do not operate under the mindset of /pol/ posters.
>>
>>526531601
Japan is still in the vassal mentality to the US, as they think grovelling by continuing to load up on treasuries will ensure the US comes to defend them if China invades. Australia is the same unfortunately. Both countries don't realize the winds have shifted permanently and Trump will not deploy the military anywhere outside the 'western hemisphere'. Foreign alliances are effectively defunct, but these governments are still the denial phase right now. Central banks don't operate outside of politics, as much as they love to claim they do.
