The Germanic tribes were all rushing to escape, and started piling across the borders. The Goths were clamoring at the border of the Danube to be let in. When they were, they were treated like garbage they revolted and killed the Christian Roman Emperor in battle. After that, they were allowed to settle in the land, provided they join the army. Additional hordes of Germanic people rushed across the Rhine, traveling all over the empire and forming enclaves. They were also recruited.Eventually the Germanic tribes had so much power in the army, they just took the empire apart one day like snapping their fingers. It was over.
