Not happening. Baja low will miss the phase and moisture transport will fail. It'll get cold, though.

I cant wait for it to snow in Texas, leaving 10 million people without power again because "muh independent power grid" cant stand up against temperatures below 85. Hope those Texcucks have at least learned what warm clothing and snow shovels are

The thing about electricity bills only affected people who opted into demand-based pricing but forgot about it
Big datacenters probably aren't going to be doing that, and even if they did, they could easily power through it.

Maybe about 65 F.
>>
>>526632179
I didn't imagine that an average household generator could generate enough fumes/CO to pose a problem at say 10 feet vs 20, but I guess so. 20 feet it is.

>>526632371
Normies get up to some fabulously retarded shit when the grid has a hiccup. I remember back in 2020 or 2021 whatever year that "cold snap" was, the power went out for a couple of days and one of my neighbors burned up half their house trying to burn wood in their electric stove oven. And without any venting whatsoever, I'm legit surprised they didn't all suffocate before the fire put them outside.
>>
>>526632894
Even better that the queers and steers state of Texas is now full of red-dot niggers as well as their normal overrun amount of cactus niggers. The roads down there are probably going to be some kind of IRL free-for-all version of that Twisted Metal videogame.

>I didn't imagine that an average household generator could generate enough fumes/CO to pose a problem at say 10 feet vs 20
You're absolutely correct, but our society is structured around protecting the retarded. Normies are incapable of understanding things like the concept of ventilation or hazardous atmospheres, so you just tell them that the generator turns you gay unless you put it 20 feet away from your house.
>>
>>526625680
You'll be fine. This high pressure doesn't get far enough south to really have much impact on Florida. Areas like Atlanta are fucked.

It's Siberian air pouring across the N. Pole.

Guys with "clean shaven" faces are the fucking worst though because 99% of the time it's just an awful prickly mess
I think you can technically achieve it but it requires upkeep that guys just aren't willing to put in.

It means everything is going to turn to ice. You won't be able to drive for at least a day. It's probably wise to stock up on some things so you don't have to be on the road through the weekend.

Food booze and weed and gas up the car in case you need to fire it up to recharge your phone. When the power goes down get stoned out of your gourd and crawl in your nice warm bed and project home made epic movies on your walls with insanely elaborate music in your head.

>We bought ramen and gas for the generator
How much did you get? I'm going to go tomorrow and pick some up myself, I'm wondering what your opinion of enough is.
>>
>>526636737
Back in 2021, many places in TX lost power for a few days at most (excluding the areas were the grid infrastructure was completely destroyed). Just get enough to keep refrigeration and heating going for a day or two. Storing any more gasoline than that can be a hassle if you aren't prepared for it.

If we get the ice they are forecasting trees will be falling across roads and powerlines from Oklahoma City to Charleston SC. It is going to be cold following this weekend so the roads will stay a mess. Everyone along the interstate 40 corridor should plan to be stuck at home and without power for a week.
Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. You need water, food and a heat source for at least a week.
