I replaced mine with closed cell foam, and the I put the furred vinyl rug that's standard with this SUV model. I also sleep on a folded moving blanket. I removed the smaller of the two back seats, and it lets me sleep in an L-shape without being seen because I put a black blanket against the black back seats. I bought two moving blankets for cheap, the one I sleep on and another I use for a thermal break at the back of the vehicle / wall. I have a shallow teapot I can burn small candles in to remove moisture before I sleep. I have a thin wool blanket that's covered by a thin black bedsheets over the vinyl covering that comes with this vehicle model. When it's dark out, it just look like I'm missing a seat. I took the removed half of the back seat and stuck it on my passenger side front seat, and pushed the seat forward. Lastly, I have a 10-degree sleeping bag I sleep in naked. It works. This setup is good down to -15 at least.

Insane amounts of moisture for fucking January... met with super refrigerated cold from the arctic that hasn't modified at all like it should have by now. The concern is that the ice will knock out the power either from trees or even taking out power lines or poles directly. Everyone down here still has Hurricane Helene in recent memory, and how long it was to restore power in some cases. If we had similarly widespread power outages, it would be much worse than that because we'll have to worry about not freezing to death, the roads will likely be impassible--at least initially--and because of the ice, it will take longer for electrical crews to fix the outages than last time.
