Would think a situation like this would open up the talks on reconsolidating oil central heating or briquet furnaces for most residential buildings. It's quite amazing that most modern urban planning relies solely on district heating, which fails the moment the pump in the apartment complex dies and then the pipes freeze and the entire house and the radiators might as well be bricked until spring and even then you'll be facing tons of air leaking into the pipes, which in turn makes damn sure the upper floors will be freezing when the next winter rolls around. It's a similar problem here and a disaster just waiting to happen. You take out a single district or transformer yard and a third of the country freezes. What a bunch of retards.

>Israel was facing destruction at the hands of Iran. This is how close it came, and how it saved itself
>The Iranian regime was increasingly convinced in recent months that it would soon be able to destroy Israel. The “Destruction of Israel” clock in Tehran’s Palestine Square was not an exercise in bravado. It was a public countdown to what the ayatollahs believed was Israel’s imminent demise, at their hands.
>Israel’s elimination, the regime delightedly, and rationally, assessed, was truly at hand.

Mostly talking about major ones like during Hu Jintao's reign when they purged like around 100 or so between 2003 and 2012. This kind of shit happens all the time and Western media just loves to grab onto each one like it's the next incoming collapse of the country.

The look in itself is not bad, it's just out of place. He's in a position where one should draw as little attention as possible.

Also, what's Xi's current purge number? Above 100k?

>but then again the way the political/military apparatus works in China the whole system pumps out bad blood every once in a while, Xi just loves to be ridiculously proactive in the whole process.
That's kinda how Xi ended being the party chairman. He made a fame as a good manager, good politician and as being the most zealous purger of corruption and incompetency in the entire party. When the core of the party manage to push Hu Jintao, the "corrupt king", out, they voted Xi in for this very reason.

A shame Jiang Zemin never got to pick a proper successor, and Hu Jintao was the most powerful old's guard leader around.

I always believe the whole hacking bullshit are domestic PR ops to try and keep hostilities relevant. There's practically nothing to be gleaned from tapping phones and most spying takes place in embassies anyway, so what is the point? The reason it happens so often too is because it needs to circumstantial evidence. You get a few stooges from intelligence to draft up an announcement to the media and it's practically free propaganda without anyone questioning it. In retrospect, i find it funnier that all sorts of spooks from the US and various other nations have no qualms with cozying up with the political leadership on various parts of the globe, but god forbid anyone as much as sneezes in China or Russia...

Europe is stuck in revolving door politics monetarily largely because everyone is hanging themselves from Germany's noose. Only exception being some of the Visegrad countries, because they literally refuse to flagellate their own countrymen in service of federational political agenda. In that sense, it's also a sign of the times. If you're not trading to the US, nor Russia/China in any large capacity, you'll have to trade in EU circles, which might as well be passing along a beggar's coin tray.

>It's actually amazing how quickly that one got swept aside
That's because Europeans are cucks & weak af and all they care about is keeping all those zogniggers on their bases because of MUH ROOSHAN INVASHUN propaganda.
Not to mention that they were getting all the intel from the NSA through Keyscore. They allowed the NSA to infiltrate all of their telecoms, siphon all of the data, and then give them an interface to search through it all. It was a way to bypass their national laws and allow them to spy on their own citizens without actually doing any spying themselves (which was illegal).
So everyone was happy: the US got all the data and they got access to it.

Pic related is the most important leak that was covered up almost immediately. No other US media outlet covered this particular revelation.

Better not add anymore bats, the cursed land of Australia is where all migratory animals move from Siberia during north hemisphere winter creating an orgy of new virus. Due to our central location protected from monsoon winds by Indonesia and Philippines we had to deal with whatever bioweapon that flies out of Australia every year.
Entire ecosystem have been nuked by them ranging from virus up to crayfish.
That's why we have monkeys that can give you malaria with a scratch and tigers are dying from canine distemper virus where they became as tame as house dogs since their fried brain can't tell if a human is food or fellow tigers.
Top that with somehow poachers these days are using EW to counter drone patrols and transponder attached to tagged animals.

This is interesting. The rest of the world could stomach the economic impact of the US going into war economy mode, or getting their supply lines hit. But American society absolutely could not stomach that. It would be a nightmare, apocalyptic scenario with internal strife. And, of course, you're right about China's capabilities for hitting them.

Something of note: I doubt that Heritage covered EMPs and DEWs. And, in a war, China would use them.

It also lists the same 5 issues for Chinese ammo logistics, 1 redacted, 4 are "the US could hit Chinese factories and depots", 5 major issues for US ammo logistics, including "no stockpile" and "no factories":
>Finite Stockpiles: U.S. munitions inventories, particularly for critical long-range precision-guided munitions (LR-PGMs) and heavyweight torpedoes, are almost certainly insufficient to meet the consumption rates projected for any high-intensity conflict.

It's amazing that they had the guts to admit their shortcomings in stockpiles and industrial capacity. It goes more or less on the line that Elbridge Colby and A. Wess Mitchell argued on their “The Marathon Initiative” think tank papers: the US has trouble with ordnance procurement and could not stomach a protracted war in different parts of the world to uphold the current world order.

On the other hand, it's funny how they underestimate China's air defense, missile range and don't even account for their “exotic” capabilities — I bet they have things that go far beyond the “discombobulator”, when it comes to psionics and advanced propulsion.

And the model can carry even worse evils forward, because the US government is always propping up or saving bad businesses instead of letting them fail.

Losing 2 o 3 three of these ships, either to a Chinese attack or due to reliability issues drops the fuel delivery capacity from 265,000-280,000 bpd to 200,000 bpd, leaving US forces in the pacific without fuel.

>Well fuck, I'm pretty sure most contemporary wargaming project that the best case scenario for the US against China in Taiwan is the definition of a pyrrhic victory even without it somehow not going nuclear.
And these scenarios are disgustingly generous with how much they concede in favor to the US. Assuming the US can hit China's mainland and China cannot do the same, that the US can sink Chinese tankers and China cannot do the same, assuming that since US ships require specialized fuel ships then pretending the Chinese are in the same position, assuming China will not target infrastructure in Japan, SK, Philippines... even when these are being fully used to supply American forces...

>I didn't know that their re-supply capabilities were so vulnerable.
It's really far below what I expected, and this is not only for the USN, but also for other US forces like those in Guam, Okinawa, South Korea... these also are on the line to running out of fuel if a few tankers are hit.

>reports create with the purpose of finding flaws find flaws
the end of the JEWnited States is truly in sight!

by the way i got a leaked report from the Chinese military about a war in Taiwan scenario, it says:
>"China is widely supported by Western cheerleaders therefore NUMBA 1. Everything is 110% beyond perfect, don't change anything and in fact cut defense spending because being NUMBA 1 is enough, no deep for being MEGA NUMBA 1"

there you go! straight from the horses mouth!

(i love being a cheerleader now, being a literal retard is so simpler and easier!)

So that's all even for their assets already in East Asia? It's even worse than I imagined then. Is there any other bottleneck as bad as this one? Or any that you identified as close? All I could think of was targeting their KC-135 Stratotanker fleet.
