I have this plan to create a PETSCII "image" board that requires the purchase of a cartridge to use. It will have the software on the cartridge and each cart with have a cryptographic chip keyed to allow viewing and posting to the board. Nobody without a chip will be able to use the board. And if somebody breaks the rules their key is invalidated server-side.This would defeat AI, shills, bots, everything. I figure I would price it about $100. Just expensive enough to make people care about the quality of the board.
