Why did Assad lose in Syria?
>>
He trusted Erdogan and then Erdogan coordinated with rebels to destroy him to create the puppet rebel state. Erdogan has coordinated with Azerbaijan to vassalized it too. And now seeks to expand influence throughout the Middle East to build up a geopolitical neo ottoman front with propped up vassal states.

He collaborated with zionists and got what he deserved for it. My only regret is that this butcher now lives comfortably in Moscow instead of hanging at the hague

Probable

And this rat laughed at Gaddafi, the last honorable Arab leader to exist
>>
>>527747465
he was solely propped up by forgein backers (in this case Russian and Iran) so the moment when both became to busy to intervene and his army suffered a set back it was game over once they realized how weak the government army really was, not helped by the fact he also massively neglected said army during the downtime while the main rebel force that would start this chain of event was slowly building up

After 2014 or so, he was militarily dependent on Hezbollah and Russia. Syria still held territory but the SAA was all but destroyed.
The war with Ukraine left Russia unable to protect him, and Israel seriously weakened Hezbollah as part of their recent rampage of slaughter, so there was no one to save him when the jihadis launched their 2024 offensive.

Not gaining Kurdish population support and sign a pact with Iraq.

>He trusted the Russians
>He trusted Erdogan
Symptoms of the fact that after Iraq and Libya there was no more room for a Ba'athist state in the eyes of the globalists. Despite being nowhere near as inflammatory as Saddam or Gaddafi, he was inevitably going to end up in the crosshairs because he and his regime didn't fit the vision that globies have for the middle east.
I think as well that he was convinced he had some breathing room after the first phase of the civil war and by the time he realized that wasn't the case he was already in deep shit.

This. Other than the Tiger Forces there wasn't any other reliable local element. And even the Tigers heavily relied on the Syrian and Russian Air Forces to conduct the sort of battles they were good at.
Once the skies weren't Assad's he lost his only real weapon.

Okay, so a few points:
>Kurdish support is mutually exclusive with support from Turkey, Iraq, or Iran
>Iraq now gives zero fucks about Syria politically, and would have let him down just as hard as Russia and Iran
The time to course correct on the diplomatic fronts was at the latest a decade and a half ago, and back then Russia and Iran seemed like more than enough.

i watched his plane take off from syria and then get shot down. youll never see him in real life ever again

its miracle that small country like syria ressisted hordes of turkroaches over a decade with minimal help from russia and iran
>>

He ran put of money. It was basically a narco state with good air defense but that's about it. The supporter network didn'f get paid so they stopped caring.

Also don't forget his "brilliant" strategy of letting Isis take large parts of the country.

Syria was Kissinger's mess ultimately.
>>
>>527747465
He trusted suni muslims to not stab him in the back.
>>
>>527750165
Genuinely. Assad wasn't Napoleon or anything but he gets a lot of points for holding out as long as he did.
>>527750310
Many such cases.
>>
>>527747465
He didn't pay his generals and his army collapsed. Not a traditional, organized "coup" by his generals, but rather a total disintegration of the military structure.

Because Jannies are trannies.

1. he demobilized most of the army because he couldn't afford their wages

2. Completely cut off from the outside, other than the sea trades with russia and iraq small border crossings, due to this syria's main economy was local dealings and illegal drug trades around the middle east other than the few oil deposits

3. syria wasn't quick to secure the Deir ez-Zor oil wells to the kurds, because of this syria lost a vital money making chance and the kurds had a stable money making resource that bought them some weapons and protection for the US and the coalition therefore assad couldn't declare war on them and finish them off.

4. assad didn't capitalize on the kurds when the US was starting to shelve them off to please erdogan, had assad played his cards right he could had them on his side but knowing how kurds work this likely wouldn't work either way.

5. didn't open up fast enough to the neighboring arab nations post 2019, he did try after 2023 but that was too little too late, also him being in power caused them to hesitate due to fears of counter sanctions from the US.

6. He trusted turkey and russia to keep their word in keeping the cease fire, if assad understood russia was bogged down in ukraine he could prepare.

Putin is an awful ally to have.
