For reasons I don't understand Claude is free through the free version of Visual Studio (at least for me on Mac). Instead of buying software now I just tell the AI to make me a clone, it chugs away for a few hours, it throws some errors maybe the first few times I try to launch whatever apps it's made, I just feed the error messages back into it and it fixes them. I also give it githubs for software that's similar to what I want sometimes and it will start with that and then do whatever changes or updates I want.Computer programmers are utterly and totally out of work.

>>527903842why do you need a compiler when there is already compilers ? do compilers embed extra software in software you compile ? is this how they gain access to everyone and everything ?
>>527901576>we'll still lord it over the coming generation of endless poor slaves.no because most likely, the vaccines cause sterility as predicted by the modern anon leaker, of through a gene drive, or other methods, like damaging the ovaries and sperm.
>>527885011It can't even build the hello world example from it's own readme. Typical IZZAT tier AI slop.https://github.com/anthropics/claudes-c-compiler/issues/1
>1pbtid>real excited about AI scam tool>starts 10 caps lock happening it's over threads every daythere was never any good reason to share a country, a language, or the internet with pajeets
learn to recognize pajeet threads. learn to stop giving (You)s, which end up as rupees, to the wrong posters. jews pay pajeets to spam this board en masse with the same agendas that you're still associating with only jews. since 2023 you are much more likely to see jew noise posted by a pajeet. there are a hundred times as many pajeets as there are jews. if you want any part of the internet to survive, you must detect, reject and redeem pajeets everywhere you find them
pajeets should be posting on bharatchan and living on the subcontinent

no thanks, pajeets
>>527905358There's a rumor that the original GCC compiler has undiscovered exploits baked into it. I think it's fake news, tho
>>527886125You don't understand. We just need one more javscript frame work. Just one more and then everything will be perfect.
>>527893596how?
>>527908825Base64 encoded email attachments via Claude
>>527909697Claude can convert from base64 now?Based.
>>527891551AI is both a bad investment and a bad product. Since it is an absurd waste of energy. AI currently uses 100 times more energy than crypto PoW did at its peak.
>>527909895Nah I must have phrased myself poorly, Claude built a script to use for the purpose
>>527885011>20000 USD API costs.Holyshit, forget everything i said, are you telling me this piece of shit slop machine needed to use 200M Output tokens and 400M Input tokens approx to write a functional 100k line compiler?
>>527910123Thanks, that makes sense.AI can script better than all my colleagues. That's not saying much, unfortunately.
the true test of AI will be unfucking the south asian subcontinent enough so its people want to live there. let me know when that project is underway
>>527889310>Are you stupid or something? Do you think 3 years of work would cost less than 20k?20k USD worth of tokens are way more than 100k lines of code. Which means the slop machine wrote and rewrote over those 100k lines a hundred of thousands of times until it got something barely functional + such HUGE context window is not something that will be available to your average joe on this decade.
>>527910213How long would it take a person to do it and whats that person’s salary?
It only took Terry Davis 5 minutes.
>>527885066>also all of the code is from the other, currently existing compilerlegalized theftthe main use of ai so far is for search engines to scrape content from websites and books and then present it as their own so they don't have to share ad revenue
>>527900904To do what? What did your applications do?
>>527912181>that's a lot of gunfire and screaming over there>should I go help?>no I don't think I should

>>527887256just like humans do
>>527911788>How long would it take a person to do it and whats that person’s salary?Probably 10 times more, but the dev output should be a functional scalable product that follows the barely minimal good practices. Cool, if you want a product for personal use, or a PoC. But there is no way in hell someone with a brain will put that piece of slop in production.

>>527909697Why do you need AI to decode base64? And more importantly, where do you find those raw attachments?

>>527885011call me when it invents a novel new language that wasn't already in its training data set. then nrites a implementation agnostic specification for that language. then writes a compiler based of its own specification document. then writes an example program in that same language that compiles and runs.
>>527915507AI created a base64 decoding web scraping script. That's enough info for the managerial level, which you obviously aren't.
>>527891703It's like that news story about a black kid who invented a computer (by assembling a build-a-cumputer kit)
