The problem isn't us, it is the medical industry, we deny them money for demanding safer procedures which they lose money out on. Blood, like Chemo, is a huge Pharmaceutical business. Same argument with cancer patients who demand holistic treatment of their cancers and the medical industry gets mad for refusing their expensive drugs. That is why holistic doctors are getting assasinated across the country for curing cancer.

She was at the Pentecost with the Apostles and other people when holy spirit was poured out on her. After the Apostles were given an invitation to heaven, the people in that room were also.(Acts 1:12-15). Mary and the other women there were among those chosen to go to heaven as well. Neither the Apostles nor Mary were literal virgins anymore. It's highly unlikely that those other Christians with were as well. So the virginity in the 144K is only symbolic.

• If Christianity is defined by Pauline theology, JWs aren’t Christian.

• If Christianity is simply one branch of Israel’s messianic expectation, then JWs lose their claim to exclusivity. Also, the only way for this to be accepted is to change the recognized definition of Christianity, which again, is why many branches don't call JWs Christian.

There isn’t a configuration where they remain both non-Pauline and the only true Christians at the same time. That contradiction is why they’re rejected by most churches and often described as a high-control restorationist movement rather than a Christian denomination.

Hi JW on /pol/. I have questions that I figure could only be answered by a JW, in regard to Christianity as a whole. I have issues believing in the authorship and divine continuity of the biblical scriptures. Additionally I have no clue why only certain books from the original septuagint & dead sea scrolls etc etc (all of the source material for the abrahamic religions) were decided upon to be the Bible. It varies widely between denominations for seemingly arbitrary reasons. This is never explained in a satisfactory and thorough sense anywhere and as such it takes away credibility.

I used to study the bible in earnest, and it never panned out because I could not find faith. Ever since I have prayed for faith and been met with deafening silence. This is my personal issue but I elaborate on it for a reason. This and the scriptural issue all seems to lead me to the conclusion that this was all just a paroquial set of stories that bound jews together in their nomadic time of need 3000 years ago, then was taken on by Romans (for various reasons). Any thoughts on this matter?
