The younger half of Gen Y are the first digital natives. If you compare them with Gen Z, their experiences are almost identical. Zoomers could’ve been just as savvy, but their parents let them become attached to smartphones instead of starting them off with desktop computers. If you want to raise a smart kid, give them access to mid ‘90s era computer, then slowly increase their exposure to more advanced desktops, and don’t allow them to own a smartphone until 16/17.
