There are 169 years between the British America and the USA, a lot happened between then.
>English settled the entire east coast (except Florida)
>French focused on the Mississippi River
When the English acquired the French land, the settlers wanted to live on it but the British restricted them so they declared independence to settle those lands.
>Finally, 1776
Americans first settle the land which the British gained. Then they traveled to Oregon. However, in the same way Florida was tacked on, the southern states such as Texas were taken too... remember, settlers are moving west across a huge stretch of territory (very north, and very south)
>Only partially settled, Texas joins America
>Mexico (formerly controlling Texas) has war with America
>America gains Mexican land from Texas to California
and that's how the USA finished both the northern and southern expansion
>tfw some people only learn about Columbus in Central America

You were better off under the British, lets be honest. Now look at Florida, nobody speaks English

You might wanna brush up your understanding of where (and when) Americans got the Louisiana purchase because that's the most obviously blatantly wrong thing here.

Considering the Spanish in Central America, the French in Louisiana, and the English in Georgia... has anyone ever looked for Florida?

Columbus really was going to India, but Central America got in his way and it took 3 or 4 journeys to find the Gulf of Mexico

is why English settlers turned into American settlers

There's both Treaty of Paris and Louisiana Purchase, as though the land was acquired twice

Americans had to war with Texas, think Britain would've put up with that considering what was happening in Europe?

The Spanish were rocking starforts in FL
>>
Okay I looked it up

1810s Spain was fighting a multifront war across the world
Mexico declared independence
Andrew Jackson smelled blood and went into Florida
Spain sold Florida to USA to get something out of the deal

>When the English acquired the French land, the settlers wanted to live on it but the British restricted them so they declared independence to settle those lands.
They stole it and genocides the white French settlers in North America

We got Louisiana back in a fake peace deal after they attacked us again when we beheaded our king and we won, they had killed everyone in North America and we couldn’t defend Louisiana which was now only French on paper as England was preparing to invade again, but based Napoleon decided to cuck the British who had planned the get Louisiana back and cut off America from expansion by giving it to America instead

The USA and French Republic/Napoleon republic were each other’s only ally in the world, it was the same conflict, America fought on the French side during the Napoleonic war, that’s why Washington DC was invade sin 1812 while Napoleon himself was defeated in 1814. It’s the same conflict

America still kept French influence, the Roman fasces symbol, the bellami salute, and the bill of rights which had come from the French Revolution and was added in 1791 to the American constitution

America went on to prosper as it was the only country left with the meritocratic and freedom ideals of the revolution and so all Europeans fled Europe to go to the USA and not brazil or Mexico or argentina or Canada. They chose the USA because they had the best laws and regime and so America grew quickly from Europeans fleeing Europe for a better life

It’s very sad Napoleon and his regime (the best one in earth history literally, humanity peaked with Napoleon) was destroyed but at elast America survived

The French Revolution was stupid and the Jacobin Faction even more so. Napoleon practically depopulated France through his conscription.

We fought so that we wouldn’t live in the 1984 hellhole that is the UK today

The UK has had no regime change between Napoleon and today they were already that bad back then they’ve merely increased their technology and ability to oppress but the mindset was always there

The UK literally jails more people for thought crimes than north Korea does

Yeah the trade forts, that's what Spanish/Portuguese were doing they were
>mapping the coasts
>building some forts along them
a bit like pitstops, this is likely where the coast of Africa come in. Spain and Portugal being near Africa and constantly sailing the waters, one of them (Portugal) mapped the African coast and potentially built trade forts along them. Thus, the stories of European trade with Africans (presumably trade of items, not the people holding items)

Reminder that Florida fought against the us during the revolution. Those faggots also fought against the union. Florida is the land of traitors
>>

>Andrew Jackson smelled blood and went into Florida
>Spain sold Florida to USA to get something out of the deal
Spain being more Central American and South American makes this interesting, sure Florida is in the south but it reads more like the Spanish were just accepting payments wherever they could as Americans moved in
>>527972678
>Florida fought against the us during the revolution
Curious if it was very developed considering the fact that it was left out not only by the French but also the English (again, Spainish was Central American focused and went to South America not North America)

World history and American history are two different stories dipshit

It also "left out" Hawaii which is equally relevant to what you just said.
>>

>Central American history: Columbus (Spanish)
>North American history: English, French, Dutch
Usually, the Spanish/Portuguese stay on ships and map the coast
>>
>>527977492
I swear there might be an alternate history where Columbus, in an attempt to reach India, mapped not just the Central American islands but also Hawaii

Meh, the French only sent mostly men over, and not enough women. They race mixed with the natives.
Only sending men over to colonies was a dumb move by catholic/jesuit run nations. Same problem happened to South America.
British sent a lot women over, that's why they were able to win in long run.
>>
>>527971163
Was it conflict near the Ohio River? Americans spent 20 years organizing that area before launching a Constitution despite having independence
>>
>>527978932
>French only sent mostly men over
That sounds like early adventure crews. Yeah, crossing an entire ocean to map unsettled land would mostly be men. Not surprising that land claims like that would simply be transferred to the English who, at the time, were quite literally settling the east coast (stopping at Georgia). Perhaps it is equivalent to the Spanish being sectioned in South America... the French were sectioned in Canada
>French Mississippi River
There was not only the Treaty of Paris but also the Louisiana Purchase, not that surprising to see the English (and later American) settle that land
