I’m doing a multi year project for a big well known corporation that’s basically ripping out jeetcode that’s been slathered on top of quality older white man code. The old C code is 100x more efficient than jeet java slop. No exaggeration. Old high efficiency code built to run on 486 processors is unbelievably fast compared to sloppy modern app frameworks. But fixing jeet corrupted software is very expensive. It’s far cheaper in the long run to not let jeets touch your systems.
