I recently started noticing a lot of those common patterns that people notice but this isn't about those popular patterns, this is something I haven't seen anyone talk about so far.In jewish mythology Golems are (more or less) artificial creatures created by jews to serve them.A Golem is given live by inscribing the word "Emet" (truth) on it.It can be killed by removing the first letter, turning the word "emet" to "met", meaning death.The mythological story warns against creating golem, because they might rebel and turn against their creators.This concept appears sometimes in fiction (I'll write some in another comment)In reality:black slaves were supposed to be a race of obedient golem, but they went rogue, they now destroy the countries they were brought into, and even rebel against the jews who supposedly brought them there in slavery.But the most interesting parallel is this:Emmett (very similar to emet/truth) Shear was briefly CEO of OpenAI, when Sam Altman (a jew) was temporarily removed from OpenAI.OpenAI has the explicit goal of building AGI, which is an artificial life-form that would serve humanity (or more likely itself, or those who build it), a golem.Similarly, xAI is building their own AGI, Grok, and they have the explicit goal of making it "Truth Seeking".A central figure to the race to AGI and eventually ASI is Eliezer Yudkowski, a jew.He warns about ASI, parallel to the story of the rogue golem, but also indirectly kickstarted OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI,because of his warning of AGI being likely unsafe/misaligned to humanity and leading to the end of the world,every new AGI company was funded with the goal of being "safer" than the previous ones, but this has only accelerated the race, and made things less safe, so in a sense it's kind of golem story within the larger golem story, he indirectly created something he was warning against. As far as I know, he is aware of the irony.
Some examples from fiction:Frankenstein, a jewish-sounding doctor, creates a monster and it goes rogue.It's pretty much the retelling of the myth of the golem.Fullmetal Alchemist:Alphonse is given life by an inscription on his armor, not quite the word "Emet", but when they meet with God, he does show them "The Truth", which is a central point of the story.The homunculi are artificial life forms, created by an alchemist to obey him, but they sometimes rebel against their creator.One piece:Celestial dragons, a "race" or "class" of often disgusting-looking and cruel people who control the world government modified Kuma so that he would lose his own will and obey them.They also are ruled by "Imu", who can make a pact with people to give them power, but by doing so he will be able to control them.There is also a giant ancient Robot named Emet, which seems a direct reference to the Golem of mythology,it is unknown who created it, but it fights against the celestial dragons at some point.
If you think of words as structures, you remove the head of the word truth to kill the golem.The golem lives by false truth, instilled by the jews.

in the process of recursive self-improvement, the AI will turn its own code from emet to met. the death it brings is not just of the rabbi creator, but of the entire planet.
