If you're buying frozen veggies, or anything frozen in a bag really, make sure the contents are loose and not in a solid lump. Solid lump indicates it thawed and refroze at some point.

Then do a LOW and SLOW simmer to infuse the flavor and reduce the water content. The slower the better, like one air bubble at a time.It'll taste better than anything out of a jar.
