>grocery stores and bakers throw out products every day, and pour bleach on it to prevent dumpster divingJesus christ. Would anyone be opposed to a gov program, like a type of sanitation worker, that provide special bins to all the locations, and pick it up for hog farms (maybe gov run too) and the meat is given to low income people?
>>527982252Socialism is a way to pacify the lower class
>>527982252They used to do this until a lawyer got involved.Someone claimed to get sick and that was it.Now it all gets trashed everyday.
>>527982252>Would anyone be opposed to a gov program, like a type of sanitation worker, that provide special bins to all the locations, and pick it up for hog farms (maybe gov run too) and the meat is given to low income people?Yes. I don't want low income people to survive. Make more money, or get out of the fucking gene pool. Simple as.
>>527982517This. If you don't like it, the laws would need to be changed, but only at the state level. There are also day old bread stores where you can get day old bread for cheaper. Just gotta look for them.
>>527982252here in Hungary we have this app called Munch which lets you reserve lucky bags of surplus food items a few hours before closing time at participating restaurants, cafés and bakeries, which you can then pick on location at a discounted price.>pic related, this meal would normally cost close to 8 euros, but through the app I could get it for less than 5 bucks
>>527982252it would be deemed as unloyal competition for pork food providers or whatever private company and cancelled. We live in a hellish world, anon, I hope we'll can change that, we have to physically eliminate these greedy kikes and wannabee kikes. Heil Hitler.
"Pick up old food from restaurants and grocery stores to give to the homeless" has already been tried. Hundreds of times.Turns out 80% of homeless are junkies. They sold the food they received, stole the food from the other 20% to sell for drugs, mugged the workers spreading the food, and got a list of profitable businesses to burgle along with their operating hours.Similar programs have started up every few years, and always ends the same way: The area becomes an open toilet, walking means dodging used needles, and junkies shooting you in the face to get their next fix.Your libshit ideas don't even work on paper, let alone practice.
>>527982252It's worse than you think. The biggest problem in modern agriculture is overproduction. We could easily feed everyone and live in a post-scarcity society, but we would rather not.We create scarcity by throwing food away, in order to keep prices high.We drastically limit food getting to the poor for free, because we want to keep demand high.Oh, and most of that profit goes to middlemen.Producers need government subsidies to stay in business.Isn't capitalism wonderful?
>>527982517>They used to do this until a lawyer got involved.Silly stories to keep temporarily embarrassed billionaires from revolting.NGMI.
>>527982252The liability on close to expired food is way too high, and "but what if they all just get welfare and stop buying?" has been the argument against almost all socialist programs since forever. Victorian workhouses were actually nice for a while, but then some rich fucks decided that poor people working for room and board should be too miserable to stay there, so they downgraded everything and imposed stricter rules. Right now, there are people who think SNAP should only supply unseasoned rice and plain white chicken meat because they want anyone on it to be so miserable that the program itself motivates them to get off it. I generally agree with the people who want it to only be used for actually nutritious food, but nutritious food tastes good. Some people would force recipients to only eat bland repetitive nothing meals if they could, solely because anyone on an assistance program "doesn't deserve" anything better.
>>527982252Having a government agency would do it as long as it transferred the legal liability from the restaurant to the government. IIRC the main reason restaurants make a visible effort to prevent dumpster diving is so they can plausibly say in court that they didn't intend for anyone to eat it and therefore any sickness acquired thereby isn't their fault. If it was a .gov enterprise that when sued could say>LMAO it'd work a lot better.
>>527984003>Turns out 80% of homeless are junkies."Among Americans aged 12 years and older, 47.7 million were current illegal drug users (used within the last 30 days) as of 2023." - https://drugabusestatistics.org/
This was such a blackpill to witness when I worked at Costco. The entire. bakery. is thrown out. Every night. Could they give it away to their workers, or even sell it them at discount? They certainly could. Do you want to know the rationale they told me for why this was not permitted? Because then the bakers could conspire by baking more than they had to, thereby creating a surplus for themselves at the end of the day. No joke, this is what they told me. Not only is this fucking insane, even if it were true, it couldn’t POSSIBLY cost more money than THROWING IT ALL AWAY. Working at Costco was such a humiliation in every single way.
>>527982252>pick it up for hog farmsremember that tik tok vid were the hog farmers were feeding the hogs bread still in the plastic bags
>>527982252But How would that keep poor goys weak to revolt?
>>527984785That's been the rationale everywhere I've ever worked with waste. Except one. I worked at a factory once (that made things of wood) and there was a massive help-yourself pile of miscut wood and scraps outside. Nice wood too like maple and hickory. It was relatively small pieces but perfect for little hobby projects.
>>527984843This is why we don't want food coming from outside our country
>>527982252why don't you give leftover food to the TafelLIKE WE DO IN GERMANY
>>527983258That's pretty neat
>>527984785throwing shit way costs almost zero time and zero dollars compared to organize something to give it away or even sell it for cheap. Businesses should be taxed like hell for every kg they throw away, especially food.
>>527982252If you feed birds you get more birds. If you feed poor people you get more poor people.
>>527985244Yes I understand that the real reason. That’s also why they want to humiliate and demoralize their workers, because the longer people work there (a) the more you have to pay them, and (b) the less productive they become. So they want as much turnover as possible, which is another reason why they fuck with your schedule and make it totally different every single week. They want you to quit. They hate you. Their statistical models have determined this makes more money than having happy, loyal workers.
>>527984400>flagWe know you're revolting.
>>527985429it's sad, I hope that whole system will make so little sense it will collapse, it cannot survive for long anyway
>>527982252I work at safeway we pour anthrax on food instead
>>527984446The local coop grocery store near me used to have the near expiration food put out into a special container that the homeless could use to get fresh vegetables and groceries. It started getting covered in birds, however it was covered so it stayed relatively free from anything bad but eventually the final straw was when a homeless woman took a shit into it and they stopped doing it.
>>527986190The thing is nobody is really homeless. They're mentally ill vagrants who CHOOSE not to live like civilized human beings.Civilization is not normal, actually. Living in the wilderness like an animal is. Most people can be socialized into civilization but the mentally ill cannot and they revert to their feral nature. These vagrants need to be rounded up and put in camps. Not shelters, not asylums, but concentration camps, surrounded by razor wire and tall walls.
>>527982517This. I used to work in a sports stadium and this literally happened to us. We would give all the old hot dog buns and burger buns to the homeless since we always bought too many and then one day some piece of shit lawyered up and now we trash it all instead. We are talking like 4-5 dumpsters full of good food every week.
carrot on a stick analogy isn't far off from the mark, in a way our society never fully adapted and/or exploited the food hack given by the industrial revolution, you need to keep food expensive enough so that people don't slowly become content with having a full belly and all the time in the world to do what they want
>>527982252They also need to study the affects of jew modified goy slop on people's bodies. If people were dumpster diving they wouldn't be able to track purchases with the shopper cards. They have enough data goy slop makes people fat, but still.
