>starlink access gets yoinked
>russians immediately start having fucktons of friendly fire incidents like vidrel
What tactics and equipment are necessary to avoid incidents like this, where one squad of untrained men lights up a friendly squad also comprised of untrained men? Surely there has to be a solution other than bootlegging satellite internet terminals serviced by a nation that is your declared enemy?

Drones, artillery, sniper fire, pick your poison. Kursk front was an absolutely brutal meat grinder for russians. People forget, they canceled all ongoing offensive operations across the entire frontline to send reinforcements to Kursk, and when these reinforcements took even more obscene losses than the light border garrisons, that's when we finally got Koreans called in, as a measure of sheer desperation for manpower. Vid related, these guys were 2nd guards or something, literally hundreds of relatively high quality troops evaporated in seconds by HIMARS.

And of course the koreans being deployed did not even slightly reduce the russian casualty rate. Kursk front eclipsed everything but Mariupol, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Vuhledar in terms of sheer casualties sustained per meter of ground gained. And all of those were urban sieges lol.

There's a case to be made that, similarly to Bahkmut, the Ukrainians held for too long, and should have begun a withdrawal as soon as the casualty ratio started equalizing.
>>
>>527989356
He wasn't, starlink is geofenced in russia. They could still use it within the Ukrainian borders but the Ukrainian leadership was too busy embezzling the aid and never addressed it. The new minister of defense resolved it by simply requiring the starlink terminals to be registered in DELTA/Diia, which could have been done years ago.

Agreed. But remember, billionaires don't care who they're dealing with as long as they make money. Nature of the beast. Imperial oil was bypassing US Govt restrictions and selling to the Nazi's in WW2. Even though the Nazi's were sinking their tankers and killing their crews. If I read correctly it took a personal "unspecified" threat againt the president of the company to change their ways. Sadly, Imperial Oil wasn't alone selling out for money.

If you're interested, the original message from the unit (https://t.me/black_swan_ukraine/488) says that the ziggers have stopped wearing personal protective equipment—helmets and bulletproof vests—during assaults.
My personal guess is that the ziggers don't take heavy stuff with them that won't save them from drones anyway.

Or they're not issuing it. Personal armour worth carrying is fairly expensive but it does save your life, more importantly it does turn some major injuries into non-events or even down the scale of being able to waddle your busted self back somewhere out of trouble.
Sure, its not stopping a drone but that's not the only thing out there gunning for dudes. Not the least of which is fragmentation effects from explosives so while one guy might get turned into giblets by a drone, if you're near him the armour is also keeping out bits of drone, his bones and exploding equipment from turning you into a leaking mess. Plus direct fire still happens, its not like that stopped being a thing overnight

Sorta like saying.
Not wearing a carrier and plates because it doesn't so shit against 155mm howitzer shells and 81mm mortar rounds

It's literally amazing that with all the tanks and jets and drones and MONEY the Ukrainians have been given, they still can't retake and hold any significant territory.
If these threads have taught me anything, the Ukranians are incredibly well equipped with drones and Bradley IFVs and medium range missiles with satalite aided targeing systems and "advisors" out the ass and they are fighting a bunch of suicidal convicts equipped with shotguns and Nagants and donkeys.
Is this some kind of gross incompetence in leadership or of the front line infantry? Is it a lack of overall strategic vision or is there some other reason they are so utterly ineffective. Pehaps some kind of malfeasance? It just seems too stupid to be stupid.
Whatever the case, they sure have plenty of weapons and other resources.
What other weapons do they need to be given in order to expel the invaders? What strategy do they need to adopt?
Anyway, if it were me, I'd probably ease up on trying to make my enemy look massively incompetent if I wasn't able to actually accomplish anything meaningful against him by the use of combat arms.
>>
>>527989363
Why give dead meat armor? It's wasteful. Let them die in droves until there's enough survivors packed in an area to force a withdrawl and then send in the valuable real troops to secure it enough to push the line another 50m. Repeat until Ukraine is out of ammo, there's always more churkas and africans to turn into suicide bombs.

What use does Ukraine have for money? Very little money has been given to them. What are they gonna do with it? Buy weapons? They are also not spamming the fuck out of the site with
>Ha ha look how under equipped and dumb and incompetent our enemy is.
It's also embarrassingly short sighted to used foreign supply chains for weapons of war.
I guess on the plus side, they are probably running through a lot of Chinese sourced weapons and war materials, so I can't be mad about that.
It's so obvious that I can't believe I've never thought of this before, but it's basically like those videos of Slavs fighting, but they are so drunk they can barely stand up and they both end up losing.

>Defence in Depth
Perhaps it is you who does not understand, so I will elucidate. Defense in depth is a strategy of delaying an enemy while you retreat and regroup. What we have seen is relatively stable battle lines, mostly because Russia already controls most of the territory it actually wants. The other thing they want is regime change and of course, the Little Ceasar doesn't want to give up his grift, so he is happy to keep the war going at any cost (to everyone else). Man, I hardly even thought of that angle.
Defense in depth is also intended to be followed up by a counter offensive to regain lost territory and possibly even cease more. I guess they are still mustering forces after nearly 4 years?
Let me guess, two more weeks.
I'm sure Lockheed is working on a Wunderwaffe right now that will fix everything.

That is not what defence in depth is, thirdoid. Defence in depth is when you engage at a fortified location at a favourable loss ratio, and when the ratio becomes unfavourable due to the enemy gradually gaining ground you fall back to the next fortification which leads to the ratio becoming favourable again. You continue this until your enemy is out of men and materiel. This is exactly what Ukraine is doing. I feel completely safe revealing this western strategy secret to you because the thirdoid brain is incapable of accepting it so you'll never be able to use or counter it.

Yeah, 50 surplus Bradleys in exchange for 80 years of russian military stockpiles were quite a good trade, even if the Bradleys were clearly much more valuable.

No you retard the goal is to drain Russia so hard it implodes (again). So whatever they "hold" whenever is simply a life-drain spigot they volunteered for.

Suits me just fine. I grew up with Soviets as the enemy of civilization. I still doubt they will irrevocably collaps or come into the western sphere of influence.

That's a nice plan, let's see how it works out. I expect this thing to get dropped as soon as another wat pops off.

Funny enough the russians do have armored trucks that can survive (not direct hits) HIMARS strikes but there is always a catch when it comes to modern russian vehicles which is usually a pathetic production number.

Why aren't they leveraging Chinese production capacity?
Surely, if the Ukrainians can mortgage their future for war materials, Russia can, too.

NTA but putin got extremely butthurt about Obama designating his shithole as a regional power. And judging by russian performance in Ukraine, he was absolutely right.
>>
>>527989438
>Chinese production capacity
That means they have to give the chinese all the blueprints and documents so they can build russian gear and russian ego wont allow that. The chinese would rather have the russian buy chinese designed apc's instead.

Ukraine actually has something to mortgage.

Anything to divert attention from the Epstein files.
>>
>>527989443
It's funny, because after months of obstructionism, they released the Esptein files to divert attention away from their policy of prioritizing streetfighting the people protesting their constitutional outrages over actual immigration enforcement in Minnesota, and then they promptly remembered why they were trying to avoid releasing them.

Easy. Or they could've bled out to death. You'd be surprised just how many RU retards died with basic bitch wounds, sitting in dugouts until they bleed out to death, only because casevac/medevac wasn't a thing.

>Why aren't they leveraging Chinese production capacity?
The Chinese know Russia won't ever pay them back, beyond discounted hydrocarbon exports, for which the Chinese already have a stranglehold for the foreseeable future. The meager Russian consumer market is essentially owned wholesale by Chinese exporters at this point, so that's not on the table either. What else is there for Russia to offer?

Rare earths? That's the last thing the Chinese would help the Russians with. It harms their own strategic supply controls, and moreover the Russians would simply seize any infrastructure more complex than digging a hole in the dirt in the medium term. Which is why the only means of economically (re)developing Russia at this point has to be done by Euro-retards (traditionally Germans) or Orange Man. >>527989432

Because historically they've been able to get those products thanks to "free market" kikes or either knowingly decade sanctions by using third party buyers, or just straight sell to Russia, all because there's never any actual accountability for evading said sanctions.

American MAGA faggots are so fucking stupid that they will cripple themselves internationally and domestically, absolutely rape their own labor market, absolutely rape their own industry and education, their medical fields, and then when someone says "Hey man, why are you being fucking retarded right now?" they'll call it propaganda. Works for me though, I want to see TKD and America collapsing is the fastest way to hurt Israel

>the ziggers have stopped wearing personal protective equipment—helmets and bulletproof vests—during assaults.

So I predicted that there was gonna be a slow degradation of the Russian Armed forces over time. We've seen it play out over the years.

>Quality of troops plummet as quality troops die
>ran out of armored vehicles and they're at a critical low
>Lost Starlink their main method of communication (really)
>Oil facilities repeatedly hit
>shadow fleet on the run

2026 is when they hit an all-time low. I think 2027 is when there's a total break down in the Russian army and they militarily collapses. It's gonna be ugly, but probably go out with a wimper.
