makes sense. tolstoy mentions trannies in war and peace and that was published in 1867, Bernal diaz mentions seeing Mexican trannies in his memoirs of the 1519–1521 expedition, and really this whole conversation is silly since we all know trannies were around in ancient europe/middle east as well
