I'm reading her autobiography now, after not having been alive when she was in power. She improved everything.Two things strike me: how horrendous things were economically, with price and wage controls. She writes about everything calmly but the country was horrific shit. Secondly, how there were still people in the conservatives who thought she was going too far despite the horrific state of the country.
