Trump (Operation Warp Speed) and Democrats both wanted to vaccinate as many people as possible to stop it or at least spoil the data sample enough that round 2 would be risky, but they failed immensely because of Trump's own aggressively antivaxx supporters. Barely anyone died of it either, that was just a lie to scare people into getting jabbed. I was going to ask more but my session was up and I didn't have another $20 because I stopped at Dave's Hot Chicken on the way.
