Pre-iPhone internet was measurably better across several metrics, primarily because it was right before the corporate influence infected the entire internet, just a quarter to a half. There was still a human element, it was gritty, not sterile. It was also before the enjeetification of the internet, so your odds of meeting a turd worlder were primarily European, which are better.

Craigslist got cucked when they removed personals. I used to fuck so many women from Craigslist. That shit was THE BEST. It’s still decent for other things. Modern internet is trash. I would take AOL 3.0 era internet over what we have now.

Turns out it was a chink father punishing his daughter by selling off her stuff. He made the daughter hand me the Macbook. She was crying.
