Whenever you hear extremely powerful and well-connected conservatives screeching at the top of their lungs that the Nazi party was "far left", you should probably take them at their word.If you actually looked at what policies conservatives have enacted for the last 100 years, rather than esoteric marketing they feed you, none of this would be a surprise.
The LDP is not the most liberal or the most pro-immigration party of Japan's political spectrum. They're center-right by Japan's standards.
