A couple years ago my F150s main wiring harness was burned nearly in half on a heat pipe off of the exhaust manifold, it was causing nearly everything to go wrong. I ended up pulling the passenger wheel and well and rewiring the entire harness. 23 wires. I've basically done everything over the years short of rebuilding an engine and tranny. My dad was a transmission builder by trade, that shit is an art form.Don't really get into wrenching like i used to but i do still do all my own maintenance and fix shit when it breaks. I've never thought about taking my shit to the shop, why? I can do it. By the time i get too old to work on cars they wont break down much at all. I'll prolly buy a new EV at 65 and that will be it lol. I hate that im not into cars anymore but desu there isnt much to get excited about.
