Truck driving was the best thing that ever happened to me. I got a mortgage, then within 2 years of starting the job I 'hurt' myself, deemed permanently incapacitated by a doctor, given my super + TPD insurance which was 341k (the gov took (58k), I am still on weekly payments from the insurer and in 7 months I will get a lump sum of 120k for an 'injury' that ended my career and lead to me being off work for a year, and I am taking my employer to court for pain and suffering.
