I went to a medium sized boring city in Germany a while ago and nobody ate vegetables. There was no fish for sale in the grocery store except for frozen fish sticks; and nobody could tell us where to buy some fish. I’m a west coaster and I can’t live on sausages and fried bread for two weeks, it clogs up my system and makes me feel heavy and bloated all the time. Fish and rice is a far more correct food to be eating on a regular basis. Yall krauts are giving yourselves colorectal cancer for sure.

But by far the most common "cuisine" was imported turkish and arab food, and other globohomo staples. At least the French had french restaurants and cafes, Italy was VERY good at keeping Italian, England had pubs. Poland, Hungary, Greece, everywhere had lots of local options even though I ignored almost all of them lmao.Anyway my main goal in visiting was art museums anyway so I didn't feel put out by it until I got home and nobody cared about art and everyone only asked what food I ate.
