We need to distill the argument to the base elements to make it very simple.Giving people guns gives them power. Some people believe people shouldn't have that power, other people believe they should have that power.I think we should have some gun control. Not everyone should have power. This is where that disagreement lies. Who gets power? Does every felon deserve power? Should we monopolize power to the state? What responsibilities should we attach to that power?
