It was on the PBS channel on Friday nights at 10 back then. I loved it because it violated so many rules. KInd of childish, but I was a child. "Life of Brian" seemed a bit tortured to me. Most of the jokes were not quite the violation of personal space that I had come to expect from them. Making fun of speech impediments seemed a bit hurtful. The magic was fading.ANYWAY.... yes, who wouldn't be dodgy? A modern celebrity would not want to be linked to some crazy person who committed a bad crime "because it was cool when the guy on TV did it."When did all this begin? Hard to say, but TV and drugs can bring out the ugly that bad parenting had suppressed so we weren't strangers to it, but it was still kind of new, not like our parent's generation so it's got to be a hot potato for him and most boomers.
