No it’s not you should brush and floss at least most days of the week to stave off any teeth or gum problems. I didn’t go to the dentist for 7 years and the only reason I did was because my tooth hurt. I had a cavity and needed to floss more because my gums were receding

Cavities are caused by bad oral biome. The bad bacteria will eat away at your teeth. People who don't get cavities don't have these bacteria dominating their oral microbiome. You can fix this by not eating slop, killing the bad bacteria in your mouth, and eating fermented foods that will facilitate good bacterial growth. Dentistry is treating the symptom of a bigger cause, a sugar loaded goy diet.

When they do Xrays and MRIs of the jaw to locate and indicate if there are cavities, costs, infections or other abnormalities it isnt a scam at all...there is an argument that their treatments are often times invasive quick fixes. For example drilling our a cavity and filling it. You could make an argument for less invasive and replenishing methods to restore teeth health but it doesn't seem to be the case.

My wisdom tooth was coming through and I booked an appointment with my dentist and they put me on to the Jeet dentist instead of my Asian one and I decided to skip the appointment, I stopped brushing my teeth for a few days and the tooth stopped emerging and my issue resolved itself. I've had cavities before and felt the cavity and had it just subside over time. All a cavity is is a hole in a tooth with something in it (usually sugar) so manually cleaning that out + enamel growth over time CAN solve it on its own.
