Welcome to Shill Awareness General (SAG). This is a thread for spotting narrative pushers, consensus engineers, and manufactured opinion.DISCLAIMER: This is not about “people who disagree with you”. This is about coordinated behavior, manipulation tactics, and artificial influence. The goal is simple: learn the patterns, share examples, and make anons harder to steer. In this thread we post:>Screenshots>Archives>Pattern breakdowns>Suspected coordination>Timing anomalies>Copy-paste talking points>Any useful observations or theoryIf you’ve worked in media, marketing, politics, PR, moderation, or anything related to information control, share what you know. If you see a narrative wave forming, document it. If you notice multiple threads/anons pushing identical framing, post receipts. If a thread gets derailed, killed, or flooded, archive it.This is political.jannies tongue my anus.
Common tactics to watch for:>1. Consensus manufacturing“Everyone already agrees”“This is settled”“Only retards think otherwise”They try to turn social pressure into an argument.>2. Blackpill flooding“Nothing will change”“It’s over”“Why even care”Demoralization is a control tactic.>3. Derail and redirectThread about X suddenly becomes about Y or Z. Attention control equals narrative control.>4. Strawman inflationA reasonable position is exaggerated into something insane, then attacked.>5. Moral intimidation“Dangerous thinking”“This leads to violence”“Reported”"MOOOODS"The goal is self-censorship.>6. Authority LARP“I work in the field”“I’m an expert”They always appear when reinforcement is needed but never verified.>7. Script wavesMultiple IPs, same phrasing, same framing, same timing. If it reads like a template, it probably is.>8. Selective outrageSame action, different reaction depending on who did it. Narrative enforcement, not principle.>9. Question exhaustionEndless bad-faith questions meant to drain time and energy.>10. Language controlSpam words like:“Debunked”“Misinformation”“Conspiracy”All of these are used without engaging the actual argument.ALWAYS try to look for these:>Unnatural posting speed or timing>Accounts that only push one angle across many threads>Emotional tone that feels scripted (flat or performatively outraged)>Instant dogpiles after a topic gains traction>Identical links, stats, or phrases appearing across different boards/sites
IMPORTANT: Not everyone who disagrees with you is a shill.Real users:>Get emotional>Contradict themselves>Go off-topic>Argue inconsistently>Change their mind (rare, but it happens)Shill behavior is different:>Stays on script>Avoids direct engagement with arguments>Repeats framing instead of debating>Focuses on steering perception, not finding truthThe difference is behavior patterns over time, not a single post.
thanks for coming weve got a real situation here
>>529154373>If you’ve worked in media, marketing, politics, PR, moderation, or anything related to information control, share what you know.Been telling 4chan this for years: I have a friend who works in PR and ghost wrote tweets and social media posts for all sorts of companies and clients, celebrities and brands. Nothing you see from these people on social media is organic, it's never them typing their own words out. It's always a PR team both carefully selecting each word and post... then also bumping their threads with replies and likes and any positive metrics. It's all fake and gay bros.
those were the best examples you could copy and paste? I've got to wonder what you think, in your mind, that you are doing? Do you know what words mean. I mean if youre just hearing about all this for the first time thats legit really good and I understand the enthusiasm but come on man.
>>529154661LolIf their goal was to get people to enlist, it's obviously not working. The one shill pointing fingers for BLM, Culture Wars, and scamming at China is just a parody.
>>529154397>>3. Derail and redirect>Thread about X suddenly becomes about Y or Z. Attention control equals narrative control.I chalk this up to, also, normies and anons can't stay on topic for the life of them. This is why we badger newfaggots over reading comprehension now. Because they'll read a post and reply with something that has nothing to do with anything written in the post. Just off topic rambling that derails any potential conversations.
>>529154373It should be Trump with Netanyahu on the back of his head.
>>529154373You'll have to make another thread about this. I haven't saved any examples. It's pretty obvious and they are terrible at it.
>>529156024It's something we build on. We can build here.
Here is an older example with Vaush stuff. One should note that 3 threads are the max you can make in a certain time frame, so whoever makes these threads makes three, spams them and then just gives up... the catalog lines them all up because they were essentially made back to back to make it look like multiple anons are soooo interested in this guy..But it's just the same guy spamming, probably.
basedpicrel should be posted in every obvious shill thread
>>529154373HOURLY REMINDER: there is no god, jesus never existed and when you die it will be nothingness for eternity!
>>529156140speaking of needing better examples. that's a solid cornerstone to build on. my pattern detection can pick up on when something feels off but I can't put it into words because im half retarded.
My stance is clear.Nonracist republic for us true elites, & democrat for those who want to be racist and rich and happy
>>529154397Good thread. Will monitor. Enjoy a bump.
>>529156140>Eceleb threadThey are very regular, they trying to figure out where to steer their little E-celeb.What works, what doesn't. The people who are happy to engage endlessly in E-celeb threads while knowing it's all bullshit for the lulz is fine. But there are people in there who are reading it, being genuinely attached to these figures and believe the bullshit. All you can do is lightly point out it. I think we did a fine job of doing this for AsmonGold. Hasan also had those damning connection to Asmon as well through Nightmedia and is obviously his foil. I don't really know enough about Vaush or his content to meme him out of existence. I remember a picture of him with some old naked lady years ago, they we're calling him his mom. I believed that and had no reason not to, I never paid attention to him after that. Something like that would work.
>>529154373Thank you for this public service.
>>529156552Right, anons need to understand the viral marketing research that these threads are actually (at least in theory) engaging in. They're trying to study online groups and their lingo and culture so they can target more content/products at them and control their support. These people just see the Internet as their TV/Radio Commerical advertising base. Sounds schizo but it's easy to see the pattern over time. Again, time. A lot of newfaggot zoomies haven't been around long enough to collect the LURK MOAR data and see the pattern.>>529156457We're all half-retarded brother. It's okay.
>>529154373Anyone anti trump or pushing epstein trump is a shill
>>529157212It's a hard line to draw between legit criticism vs concern trolling and we've been battling it for such a long time. It comes down to their criticisms and the nature of them.
>>529155232Ah, the good ole' "non-sequitur".
>>529158056So you can post that without re-writing it.
>>529158154Th-thanks...
I think the punch monkey is inorganicEvery platform mentions it
>>529154414Important distinction and point.>Steeringthis is the most important part.Narrative-steering
>>529154373if only there was a group of people whose job it was to mitigate spam and raids like this
