Those jobs would have never been offshored if unions didn’t strong arm the auto companies into paying floor sweepers 100k a year. It’s even more than that when you consider they were getting lifetime pensions and healthcare after 10 or 20 years actually working. The auto companies didn’t leave until the labor costs were so high it would have been cheaper to build the cars on the moon. Combine that with never ending regulations driving the cost of everything up they had no choice. The Japanese auto makers were making better economy cars, and the Germans made the better high end cars. If the American automakers had stayed they would have went out of business. Nobody would pay 200k for a shitty plastic ford taurus because a bunch of high school dropouts were too stupid to realize that holding a company hostage via strikes wasn’t an endless money glitch. The unions’ greed caused those jobs to be offshored. NAFTA gets signed because all the CEOs were able to honestly tell the president “in ten years we will all be out of business and the factories will be in Mexico anyway”. Nurses are going through the same thing now. They always bitch about being underpaid and go on strike. And wouldn’t you know it nursing H1Bs are taking their place. Obviously offshoring and migrant labor shouldn’t be inflicted on us by our own fucking government, but if every Marxist femboy demands a “living wage” than they are playing right into the hands of the globalist
