There's been a study of this, actually, and yes inbreeding is part of it, but also just a culture of lying, paranoia, and bluster. Muslims in general lie just as much as the Jews do, they're simply less intelligent and don't think far enough ahead of the consequences of their lies. Despite this, Muslims do not acknowledge that Israel has defeated them, several times. If you name any particular conflict in which the Jews triumphed, a Muslim will recite a long list of very specific incidents where things shook out positively for them, while totally ignoring the larger context in which those events occurred, or indeed the immediate aftermath of them where any positive results were erased. Muslims employ selective memory as a cultural tool to shape the narrative of their society, as a result they can't learn from mistakes, and cannot improve for future conflicts. This is why they lose, continuously. It's why they bluster about a military prowess that is nowhere in evidence. It's why they remain totally convinced of their inevitable triumph despite 100 years of failure.
