And are poor people just punkish and aggressive, so that America's founding stock are just low class aggressive punks?I often wonder if something in Americans -- and likely in Jews too, though I don't know Jews as well from experience -- craves to dominate whatever and whoever is around them, to establish the pecking order in each situation with themselves at the top, and so Americans are constantly fighting each other in subtle ways, taking jabs and playing mind games, and this is just the American way, since you have to be a free, autonomous, independent individual here, and that means sending a message to others that you won't be fucked with and will be dominant over them whenever possible.It's like the ideology of freedom run amok. I don't think Americans were always like this, though the potential must always have been there. This may be a post-1960s, hyper-individualist phenomenon.In any case, Americans are exhausting people to deal with.
