Germs aimed for developed soviet oil fields in Caucasus but sucked a huge one in Stalingrad, japs were running out of oil and desperate from mutt sea blockade, so they attacked mutts. They were actively avoiding getting involved with soviets until soviet forces attacked them first (in accordance with Allies agreements).
