Can't remember what castle I was visiting but they had basically a two storey tall pigeon coop. It was all hollowed out inside to provide maximum pigeon pods. Looked quite cosy for the little guys.

They learn fast that bringing you a valuable piece of metal/money/etc is rewarded with free food.Some guy here trained crows to pick up dollar bills off the street, and made a few hundred dollars doing it.
