Their coast is blockaded and they have no way of shipping crude. Their financial lifeline has been cut. They ran out of missiles and AA and have no way to replenish either. Russia is bogged down in Ukraine and can't do anything to help them. China is also too scared to do anything. Even if they wanted to send some help, how exactly is it supposed to be delivered when the US Navy sits just off Iran's coast and any over-land supply convoy can also be bombed into oblivion? Iran isn't Russia who can just keep shipping gas and oil while fighting in Ukraine. Iran isn't Ukraine who has friendly neighbors willing to help it financially and militarily. Iran isn't even North Korea who has proximity and close ties to China. They have nothing right now. They're screwed.
